Give your exported reports a name that actually means something. Admins can now define a custom title for RBR PDF exports, using a formula that can pull directly from form response data — so every file is unique, recognizable, and easy to manage.
By default, RBR PDF files are exported with a title based on the form and response IDs — not very descriptive, and identical-looking across every response to the same form. When you’re managing multiple downloads, that makes it hard to tell files apart at a glance.
With this feature, you can define a custom export name that pipes in response data, so each exported PDF carries a title your team can actually recognize.
The Export RBR name field lives in the Form Settings panel of the Form Editor page:
The default value is rbr_obj_{SID}.
Build your export name using two types of dynamic values:
Combine both in a single formula, for example: {Q1.A1}_[SubmitDate].
This is especially useful when your form collects identifying details like a name, ID, or location — the exported PDF title will reflect that data automatically.
Resolved names are sanitized before being used as a filename:
